For What He Did, You Can Have it All!

Many Christians have been seduced into thinking that they must earn the right to experience the forgiveness of sin and the joy of answered prayer. They often feel guilty about their wrongdoing and try to make up for it through "good works." Even seasoned Christians struggle to overcome feelings of unworthiness, fear, doubt, unbelief, and condemnation that the enemy sends their way. The result is that they remain beneath the standard of living God has intended for them to experience.

The truth is that God, through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, has already made you righteous. Nothing you could ever do will make you more or less righteous in God’s eyes. Good works, which are of great benefit to others and ourselves, are simply the product of our righteousness.

As you gain biblical understanding of how this right standing with God is meant to work in your life, you’ll begin to experience the joy of your salvation. The reality of the promises found in the Word of God will then begin to fall in place.

Centering his teaching on God’s Word, Dr. Dollar explains how righteousness—standing whole, perfect, and unblemished in God’s eyes—is a position guaranteed to everyone who believes. This revelation will give you the platform to launch every other kingdom principle successfully.

Because of His sacrifice, you are Not Guilty!

The Master Key

What would you say if I told you there is indeed a master key that unlocks everything in the kingdom of God here on earth? What would you say if I told you that the key is already in your possession? What if I told you that it is God’s desire for all of us to have the power to transform our lives and the lives of those around us?

To be used by God in these last days, to accomplish something significant for the kingdom of God, we must discover and learn how to use the master key.

God has not hidden full understanding of this master key from us. In fact, those of us who have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior possess this key. God has revealed this master key to us through His Word; when we use the key properly, it will open to us the endless treasure of His grace. When we unlock that treasure, we will finally be able to live in the blessings bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus.

I want to warn you, though, that when you hear the truth concerning the master key, you will be tempted to think, Oh, I know what that is, or, I understand that concept. The reality is that many of us do not understand it; we only think we do.

I know this because I thought the same thing years ago. Over the last couple of years, however, while searching the Word on a subject totally unrelated, new revelation proved how shallow my understanding was. I realized that I would have to hit the books again and that some of my long-held religious beliefs would have to change. I had to do this because religious traditions have robbed many of us of the deep and rich relationship God desires to have with us.

I am convinced that man-made doctrines of religious tradition are the greatest enemy of the church today. This kind of religion creates a consciousness and a system of beliefs that can cause us to completely misunderstand our relationship with God. This form of religion denies the life and power of the gospel of Jesus.

Now, after eighteen years of periodic study and three years of intense study, I share this master key with you. It will be no surprise to me, however, if the Lord is not yet finished revealing layers of understanding concerning this subject.

Righteousness is the master key. By correctly understanding how righteousness works in God’s plan for man, we can more effectively use this master key to open the treasures of the kingdom of God.

Justified by Righteousness

Let’s begin with a foundational Scripture that puts the various elements of righteousness in perspective. Let’s examine this passage from Romans chapter 3 in The Amplified Bible. It is a bit long, but I encourage you to slowly read it all the way through.

For no person will be justified (made righteous, acquitted, and judged acceptable) in His sight by observing the works prescribed by the Law. For [the real function of] the Law is to make men recognize and be conscious of sin [not mere perception, but an acquaintance with sin which works toward repentance, faith, and holy character].

But now the righteousness of God has been revealed independently and altogether apart from the Law, although actually it is attested by the Law and the Prophets,

Namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction,

Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives.

[All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus,

Whom God put forward [before the eyes of all] as a mercy seat and propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life-giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over and ignored former sins without punishment.

It was to demonstrate and prove at the present time (in the now season) that He Himself is righteous and that He justifies and accepts as righteous him who has [true] faith in Jesus. Romans 3:20-26 AMP

Notice what’s at stake where our righteousness is concerned: justification. We are either justified by faith or not at all.

"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified…" (v. 20). That word justified means "declared righteous." In other words, we are righteous for no other reason than the fact that God has declared us righteous.

Verses 21-22 say, "...being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith...."

Righteousness by faith is a little like being born into a family. I was born into the Dollar family. I am a Dollar based on my family’s declaration. I did not have to do anything to become a part of the Dollar family. My parents simply declared me "Creflo Dollar."

The same kind of dynamic is at work when we are born again. When we realize we need a Savior to forgive our sins and bring us into fellowship with God, and we ask Jesus to do those things, we are born again. When we are born again, we are declared righteous and made members of the family of God. Being born again does not include instructions on how to do something to become righteous. They are not necessary. We are born again and declared righteous by the Word through our faith and belief in Jesus Christ.

Customer Reviews

You are righteous!!!5
Brother Dollar is a teacher of righteousness along the lines of Brother E.W. Kenyon. However, Brother Dollar has a gift for pointing out the obvious without sensationalizing or becoming too wordy. He goes straight to the point and lets you know who you are in Christ Jesus and what you are entitled to because of what He did for us. Brother Dollar explains in simplistic terms our right to be forgiven because Jesus became our substitute and how we are able to come boldly before the throne of God because of who we are in Him. This book is a must read for all Christians who believe they are simply a "sinner saved by grace" and that "Gods gonna get you for that." Brother Dollar points out how our God is a loving and merciful God who wants us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Him. This is a wonderful book for those who wish to know who they "truly" are in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Not Guilty4
In his book NOT GUILTY, Creflo Dollar reminds us that we cannot purchase our salvation. This gift was already bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. Simply put, God just wants us to believe in him! "Our attitude should resemble the attitude of God" (Philippians 2:5, 6) and we should aspire to conduct ourselves more like Jesus did while he was on the Earth.

Dollar explains that righteousness is something that is available to everyone - Christians and non-Christians; however, it's based on personal choice to stand with God. He compares this principle to a master key that will unlock our blessings. It is important to be renewed in the word of God to have a successful life filled with prosperity. To be prosperous, we must first take care of our personal needs and then try to impact the live of others. This right standing with God ultimately leads to the joy of salvation.

This covenant is a bond to God, which compels us to lean on our blind faith, and Christian values. To aid in our understanding, Dollar differentiates between a belief and our faith. A belief is defined as something that is mentally accepted as truth, although absolute certainty may be absent. Whereby faith is defined as acting on what you believe. Therefore, faith is what carries belief into action. A simple example of faith is a chair. What is she talking about you may ask? The explanation is easy. When you sit on a chair, you don't give it much thought, but you have the faith that the chair will support your weight. This same type of faith is crucial in our relationship with God. Dollar urges Christians to match their actions to their faith. In the New International Version of the Bible, James 2:17 states that "faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

NOT GUILTY is not a book to take lightly. It requires careful reading and meditation. It provides biblical understanding to the precepts of kingdom principles. The flow is easy, not preachy. Once again, Dollar has provided his deep insight to help enlighten a biblical topic. Dollar loads the book with biblical references to infer his meaning to the reader.
